Setup
Five minutes, once. After that the call runs itself.
Accept the invite
The data lives in one private GitHub repo: github.com/MicahFalde/contextwindow. You get an invite as a collaborator. Accept it before anything else; every step below reads that repo as you.
Install
One command in a terminal. The -s user part registers it once for every project on your machine:
claude mcp add -s user contextwindow -- npx -y github:MicahFalde/contextwindow-mcp
It needs Node 20 or newer on your machine and a GitHub login for the same account the invite went to. Either sign in with gh auth login or set GITHUB_TOKEN in your environment.
Use it
Then just talk to it. Three things worth saying:
add an agenda item: what I learned running agents against prodwhat is everyone working onshare my project "Context Window MCP" and attach these files
Two slash commands are there when you want a fixed starting point:
/mcp__contextwindow__prepreads your last week of commits, asks what else you did, drafts your three-sentence roundtable item, and posts it only when you say so./mcp__contextwindow__briefpulls the agenda and everyone's project updates into one screen before the call.
Sharing code
Files go up only when you ask for them; a summary saves without any. The limits: 25 files, 250 KB each, 2 MB in total. Past that, give the repo_url instead and the reader can follow it.
Credentials are caught on your own machine before a single byte is sent. The scan rejects the whole write when it sees a token, so keep the blocks short and numbered. Share only what is yours to share.
The room
The full view is at /room/, behind a plain GitHub login. It remembers you for a week. To get out: /auth/logout.
Without Claude Code
The room page carries everything, and you can edit the files themselves on github.com. One file per item, in the folders agenda/<date>/, projects/<login>/ and recaps/. Plain markdown; a blank line between frontmatter and body, two dashes on their own lines around the frontmatter. A push regenerates both views within a minute.
